This is a renovation project for an old church yard. It was required to redesign the yard as a gallery for the public. The 5 art pieces in this gallery were chosen or designed by 5 students. The 5 pieces were installed with having proper distance along the footpath, not to disturb each other but to make a sequence of them. The shape of the footpath is curved by basing it on ergonomic design. Coincidentally, the art pieces are related to words in some ways. To present them calmly, beautifully and poetically, water would be perfect for this gallery and the environment because it is near the river Thames.Then I would design the yard with some ponds which is illuminated from the ground.
